I am an award-winning freelance journalist specializing in travel, cultural and culinary excursions, sustainable lifestyle and contemporary culture. A member of American Society of Journalists and Authors, Society of Professional Journalists, and the Association of Food Journalists, I am a contributing writer to regional and national magazines, newspapers, and online publications. I also author the Nonstop and Celebrity Traveler columns for The Baltimore Sun, the Baltimore City Guide for Amtrak’s Arrive Magazine, and have written a guidebook on Tahiti. I worked on the launch team of one of the internet’s earliest family websites www.mom.com as the editor and a contributing writer for the website’s Travel and Education channels.
I reside in the Middle-Atlantic region of the US with my husband, our wild-and-wonderful pup, Lucy, ornery cat, Orwell and crazy kitten, Olive. I’m eternally missing but oh-so-proud of my grown-up children who have ventured out into the world and doing wondrous work.
Please check out my writing samples. I’d love to work with you soon.
