I am a freelance writer specializing in travel, cultural and culinary excursions, sustainable lifestyle, education and contemporary culture.  A member of American Society of Journalists and Authors and Society of Professional Journalists, I am a contributing writer to regional and national magazines, newspapers, and online publications. I also author the Baltimore Sun’s new monthly column Celebrity Traveler. I worked on the launch team of one of the internet’s earliest family websites www.mom.com as the editor and a contributing writer for the website’s Travel and Education channels.

I reside in the Middle-Atlantic region of the US with my husband, two almost-grown-up children, our beloved scaredy-dog, Tasha, and ornery cat, Orwell.
