I am an award-winning freelance journalist specializing in travel, cultural and culinary excursions, sustainable lifestyle and contemporary culture. A member of American Society of Journalists and Authors, Society for American Travel Writers, The Authors Guild, Society of Professional Journalists, and the Association of Food Journalists, I am a contributing writer to regional and national magazines, newspapers, and online publications. I also author the Nonstop and Celebrity Traveler columns for The Baltimore Sun, the Travel Post Its for The Saturday Evening Post, and wrote the Baltimore City Guide for Amtrak’s Arrive Magazine, and have written a guidebook on Tahiti. I worked on the launch team of one of the internet’s earliest family websites www.mom.com as the editor and a contributing writer for the website’s Travel and Education channels.
I reside in the Middle-Atlantic region of the US with my husband, our wild-and-wonderful pup, Lucy, ornery cat, Orwell and crazy kitten, Olive. I’m eternally missing but oh-so-proud of my grown-up children who have ventured out into the world and doing wondrous work.
Please check out my writing samples. I’d love to work with you soon.
